Mangosteen juice supplements
Mangosteen juice supplements are very popular because of the high amount of antioxidants found in the mangosteen. As you’ve probably read already, our bodies have to contend with something called “free radicals” attacking our body cells every second of every day. And, antioxidants work to repair the damage done by these free radicals.
There are natural chemical substances within the mangosteen called xanthones, which are very powerful antioxidants. Xanthones have been studied for their medicinal potential and demonstrate a number of pharmaceutical properties. Xanthones are more powerful antioxidants than vitamins are. The mangosteen fruit contains a whole family of xanthones ( 40 of them ).
The xanthones have been the subject of intense research. They are found in a select number of rain forest plants, but are more abundant in the pericarp (rind) of the mangosteen.
According to professional journals such as “Free Radical Research” and “Journal of Pharmacology”, and the “Indian Journal of Experimental Biology”, these xanthones have a effect of cardiovascular health, are naturally antibiotic, anti viral and anti-inflammatory.
