Sometimes, it’s not easy to get started with exercise, if you haven’t done much for a long time.
People get into bad eating habits (unlike my grandson who is loving his Pumpkin here:-) and then want to change. Initially, it’s not easy.
A customer of ours had put on some weight, and didn’t have much energy. So, she started taking the Vemma to get enough energy so she’d feel like exercising. Once she started feeling good and energised, it was easy for her to go for a walk and to the gym. Then, she started losing weight.
If only we would remember what we learned as small babies, when we first started eating solids. Danny my grandson is off to a good start. His Mummy knows what’s best for him. Rice cereal then butternut pumpkin. Unfortunately (for his Mummy), he did one of those baby rasberries while his mouth was full, that’s why he has pumpkin in lots of places!

Liquid supplements have two different methods for processing. “Hot fill” means the liquid is heated at a high temperature, and poured into the bottle hot, then allowed to remain hot until it cools down on it’s own. That may sound harmless, but these are a few of the problems associated with exposing nutritional food to high heat over time:
Destroys some vitamins
Destroys some phytonutrients
Changes color
Increases oxidation and neutralizes antioxidants
Breaks polysaccharides
Denatures proteins and enzymes
Changes taste
There are also some recent discoveries that raise another potential issue surrounding heat processing.
Dr Yibing Wang, the Research Director at Vemma reports this issue:
Aside from these obvious negatives, another potential issue surrounding heat processing has come to light. During investigations relating to the review of a petition for the use of irradiation in certain foods, FDA scientists identified the substance furan in foods processed during traditional heat treatment techniques, such as cooking, jarring, and canning. The presence of furan is a potential concern because high levels of this compound have been linked to liver cancer in animals. The FDA will investigate if very low levels of furan found in certain heated foods can harm humans and much more research needs to be conducted before any firm conclusions can be made.

Vemma uses the cold fill processing method for the Vemma products, which enables them to retain the nutritional value in the products, and also maintain taste and color integrity.

Well I have to say I’ve have heard ‘that’ statement quite a few times since I’ve been marketing a product that makes myself and thousands of people around the world (in 45 countries so far) feel great, maintain good health and have that extra energy throughout the day.
Only a few weeks ago I was talking to the husband of one of my regular customers that usually contacts me at least a week before she runs out of the product.
In fact she did run out once while they were away for a weeks vacation and when she got back she called me as soon as she got home and said, ‘is it ok if I come around and pick up some Vemma? I ran out two days ago and I really notice the difference’.
Anyway back to when I was talking to her husband, he told me his wife really liked the product and he would also be taking it himself as well if he could afford it.
Without being too invasive I said, ‘what do you mean by that?, you don’t really have any vices do you, like gambling, or drinking or whatever?’
‘No, of course not’ he replied, ‘I just buy two or three cappuccinos a day, that’s all my pocket money gone’.
‘Okay’, I said, ‘how much does that cost you a day?’
After a minutes he worked out he was spending between nine to twelve dollars a day just on coffee. Suddenly his expression changed, a big smile appeared on his face, (like the light that comes on when we think we’ve thought of a great idea!!).
I could almost hear what he was thinking and I thought to myself,’Okay, here it comes!!.
‘You know’, he said, ‘I don’t know why I didn’t think of this before, I suppose it’s just habit, the pennys’ just dropped!, If I cut down to two cappuccinos a day I’ll have more than enough to cover my shot of Vemma every morning, seeing it works out to the cost of a up of a coffee each day.’
So the moral of the story is, if someone says they can’t afford to take nutrition supplements, is that the real reason or would they rather spend their money on other things??
In Canada back in 2002, there was research looking at whether or not there were benefits to taking a trace element and multivitamin supplement. People between the ages of 50 to 65 were given a supplement for one year, and another equal group were given a placebo.
In a number of tests, the supplement group showed a stronger immune system response. The placebo group had a total of 24 sick days compared to 11 days in the supplement group. Of those people taking the placebo, half the subjects were found to have low blood levels of at least one of the nutrients. No one in the group taking supplements, were found to have deficiencies. Did you know that your body produces 300 million new cells every day? This is more than 9 billion cells each month. Scientists and health professionals all over the world are now advising that the key for health and well being is to be on a good diet and to supplement that diet also.
To help defend you body’s 63 trillion cells from oxidative attack, these things are vital: the ideal amounts of vitamins, powerful antioxidants, major trace and ultra-trace minerals.* If your cells do not have a strong nutritional foundation, they are more susceptible to free radical damage. And, this free radical damage can increase the aging process.* Your cells’ health and the way you look and feel is dependent on how effective you are at defending your cells from free radicals.*
One specific class of phytonutrients are Proanthocyanidins, and they have numerous health-giving properties. They are known to be powerful antioxidants, also known as “free radical” scavengers. These scavengers get into our bodies through stress, being exposed to dirty air, over-exercise and other environmental pollutants.
Numerous plant and food sources contain Proanthocyanidins. The benefits of Proanthocyanidin are:
They are used in the treatment of allergies, because they reduce histamine production.
They inhibit enzymes that break down collagen, and they help collagen repair.
They inhibit the daily effects the Sun’s rays have on the skin, so they assist in slowing down the aging of our skin.
They strengthen our capillary walls, therefore helping to improve circulation. This is especially important for those who have had a stroke, diabetes, smokers, oral contraceptive users, those with arthritis and those with general cardiovascular insufficiencies.
They protect the blood vessels in the brain, which means they fight the free radicals in the vessels of the brain. This can result in a decreased potential for stroke, possibly help in fighting senility and increase mental acuity.
The Vemma Mangosteen Plus has been tested* for the presence of Proanthocyanidins and found that the Vemma product has 1,013% more than a leading competitor at 160 mgs per serving! This reinforces that Mangosteen Plus is a powerful whole fruit mangosteen juice product.

If you work in an office or somewhere that you don’t have to use your voice all day, then catching a cold or the flu, might allow you to go to work if you really want to. However if you need to speak to customers, or if you sing for a living, then catching the flu or even a bad cold may cost you a lot of money.
John (my husband and business partner) is a singer, and in the video below, he tells us how he managed to sing one night, even though he had a really bad flu.
